Britney Spears is Back!

Last Tuesday night at the House of Blues in San Diego, Britney preformed a thirteen minuet show. At 10 pm she took the stage lip-synchng to a back track of "Baby One More Time", sporting a long brown wig. Backed up by four blond girls, dancing like Britney "invited 900 friends to her dirty little dance party". After two minuets of "Baby One More Time" turned into a shorten "I'm a slave for you". The dancers then left Britney for some chair dancing to "Breathe On Me" before plucking a male fan from the audience. After a quick costume change Britney came back out for "Do Something" and she finished with "Toxic", by doing a little Shakira hip dance. Before blowing kisses to the fans she said, "Thank you very much. These are my dancers."
Tuesday show was the first of four shows at the House of Blues. Others shows are scheduled for Anahiem, California: West Hollywood, California: and Las Vegas.

American Idol "Gives Back"

On April 24 and 25, Fox, American Idol and CPEF, came together to do a two night special to help raise funds and awareness for U.S. organizations that focused on delivering health and education resources to children and young people in poverty in the U.S. and Africa.
On the 24 the top six finalists sang songs that were about "Life". After the performances viewers were able to call or text message their vote for their favorite performance. With every vote, American Idol sponsors like Coca Cola and AT&T, along with other sponsors, donated money to CPEF.
Then the two hour special results show on April 25 was an evening full of world-renowned artists and celebrities who took the American Idol stage.

Tree By Leaf

Hey,
Recognize anyone from this picture? Well the guy on the right is Mr. Young! He has his own band now called Tree By Leaf. They have been together for eight years and have released five Cd's, Evening Treatises (2000), Works of Mercy (2001), Postcard from Rome (2003), Of the Black and the Blue (2005), and there latest There is a Vine (2006). They have been performing all over Maine and New Hampshire. They are even going out to Portland, Oregon. Their next show is actually tomorrow at the Blue Goose. Then they are headed off to Portland, Oregon to play at the Produce Row on April 21. They are due back in Maine on April 27 to perform at the Montville Grange and then April 28 at Haggerty's in Yamouth. In May to August they have plenty of upcomming shows to check out.
